K-City Network Smart Solution Demonstration
Purpose
This program was created to share Korea’s smart city expertise and experience with overseas cities interested in Korea’s smart city model and give Korean companies opportunities to demonstrate smart solutions/technologies/services they developed in overseas markets.
Summary
The program provides support for activities as well as funding for implementation of Korea’s smart solution demonstration projects abroad, including survey of project sites, installation and operation of smart solutions/technologies/services for demonstration, and evaluation.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants for smart solution demonstration projects are Korean businesses/organizations which lead the project consortiums formed with foreign national/regional/city governments that will host the smart solution demonstration projects (hereinafter referred to as the “overseas partner governments”). To confirm the establishment of the project consortium, applicants are required to submit either a Letter of Intent (LOI) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with the overseas partner governments.

Cities overseas that are suitable for demonstrating smart city solutions developed in Korea and willing to integrate Korean smart city technologies

Scale of Support
Selection of up to six (6) projects with 300~400 million KRW funding per project.
