Goyang City is promoting the'Smart Drone Safe Urban Regeneration' project in the area of Hwajeon Station, using'drones' and'smart cities', which are the 4th industrial innovation growth tasks, as key growth engines for urban regeneration. In this project, a'Drone Anchor Center' will be created to use'Drones' to improve the life safety of residents and students, thereby fostering the drone industry as a regional specialization project and utilizing it as a resource to vitalize the local economy.
As a detailed project, it plans to develop a'smart drone guard service' using drones to strengthen the safety of vulnerable groups such as women, children, and the elderly on night roads and back and forth. In addition, it is planning to establish a state-of-the-art life safety environment that can quickly respond to emergency situations such as crime and fire by linking with the police and fire stations through a smart city system. 'Drone Anchor Center', an innovative space, strengthens the foundation for related industries by performing tasks such as drone flight management, start-up, corporate support, research, and education in connection with a nearby aviation university. In addition, it is expected to induce visitors by installing drone experiences, public relations and sales facilities for the general public, and to strengthen the foundation for economic activity of local residents.
