Creation of Small but Strong Smart City
Small but strong smart city is a project to create a leading city with specialized solutions to secure the ability to respond to environmental changes such as climate crisis and regional extinction in order to solve urban problems caused by the rapid development of cities. It is created at a scale of 2 billion won (240 from the government: 120 from the local government).
A total of 23 local governments applied for the 14 year small but strong smart city development project, showing a competition rate of 3.5:1, and Mokpo-si, Jeonnam-si, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, Taean-gun, and Asan-si were selected.
