Gangwon-do was finally selected for the 2020 blockchain national pilot project contest, and an open briefing session was held on the afternoon of January 1th (Friday) for the proposed project, 『Blockchain-based, Gangwon-do type chronic disease integrated platform construction』 at the Seoul office of the Korea Internet & Security Agency, and announced the start of the full-scale project.

 

The 10 Blockchain National Demonstration Project, promoted with a total of 2020 tasks, aims to foster blockchain, the universal core technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution, and discover public services.

It is a national contest project promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (Korea Internet & Security Agency), and the support project cost is around 10 billion won per project (government cost 6, private investment 2-6 million), and the project period is from March to December 20.

The pilot project proposed by Gangwon-do, based on the blockchain-based and integrated management platform for chronic diseases of Gangwon-do, is aimed at chronic cardiovascular and vascular chronic diseases that are difficult to visit in hospitals, such as public health centers and Hallym University hospitals. Base blood sugar and blood pressure management system, artificial intelligence-based analysis and prediction services,

Kangwon-do plans to discover and demonstrate future self-care models that are specialized in digital hysteresis and accredited health information digital cardiovascular system.

In particular, Gangwon-do is the lowest nationwide in various health indicators such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, and expectations are high for the direct indicator improvement effect through this project.

 

In addition, through the systematic management response of potential risk groups classified through AI prediction, it fundamentally blocks the possibility of developing into chronic diseases.

In connection with the hospital system, the company announced its ambition to complete an uninterrupted chronic disease management system from pre-hospital self-care to post-hospital hospital care.

 

Gangwon-do officials expect that the project will be the first step and a catalyst for Gangwon-do blockchain, and actively foster blockchain to become a new growth engine of Gangwon-do, including discovering various public services based on blockchain that citizens can feel. He said.
