ㅇ Smart City Challenge * is a project that solves existing urban problems with ideas discovered by private companies and local governments.In the preliminary project, a business plan is established for one year and pilot operation of a representative project (budget 1 billion) is pursued. It is a business that is pursuing a smart city business for 15 years (budget 3 billion ~ 200 billion). |
* In 19, the first preliminary project was conducted for six locations, and three locations (Bucheon, Incheon, and Daejeon) were selected as the main project sites in February this year.
□ Sangsalmi Village, located in Samjeong-dong, Bucheon-si, was designated as a housing redevelopment maintenance area in '09, and it was a place that suffered a chronic parking shortage in the original city for a long time until it was released in '18.
ㅇ To solve this through the Smart City Challenge, we shared the parking lot around the village with Technopark parking lot and residents' priority parking space in the village, and provided a parking agency or shared mobility (shared car, shared quickboard) service when using the Technopark parking lot. It was transparently operated and managed through a mobile application (City Pass) and a blockchain system.

<Preliminary Project Performance>
ㅇ Particularly, in the background of these achievements, not only private companies but also village residents actively participated in the promotion of “resident participation-type projects” such as establishing a social economy model of village enterprises (Sangsalmi people).
– Village businesses operate and manage shared services with companies to provide support for illegal parking inspection, while Bucheon City provides 1% of the residents' priority parking space allocation income (3 won/month per page) to village businesses through the revision of the ordinance. A sustainable smart city operation model was established through village enterprises.
