– Smart City National Pilot Smart City City Information Center/Healthcare Site Inspection in Sejong –
– Emphasis on the success of a pilot city, a leading model for future cities, and the spread of highly sensible services –

 

□ Noh Hyung-wook, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, visited smart city sites in Sejong City on August 8, checked the progress of smart city, and encouraged the officials.

□ First, Minister Roh, who visited the construction site of the National Pilot Smart City in Sejong, which is being promoted as a national project, received a report on the status of the project.
ㅇ “Smart City National pilot smart city has important significance as a global future city model in which new technologies of the 4th industrial revolution are integrated”, he said.
○ “In order to achieve tangible results, the participating organizations such as Sejong City, NAACC, LH, and private companies should cooperate closely and implement it as soon as possible.”
ㅇ In addition, we ordered safety and high-intensity quarantine management at construction sites.

□Also, I visited the Sejong City Integrated Urban Information Center and received a report on the smart city city operation status and plans, and looked around the city situation control room in the center.

ㅇ At this meeting, Minister Roh said, “In the future, the city operation method will be developed from a focus on the use of CCTV image information to a method of integrating and utilizing various city data such as traffic, environment, energy, crime prevention, and medical care.”
- “Through the Korean version of New Deal 2.0, we plan to distribute smart city data hubs from next year, and we will provide smart city management and various convergence services using data,” he said.

ㅇ In particular, “Smart City Epidemiological Investigation, which became an axis of K-Quarantine by reducing the existing epidemiological investigation time from 24 hours to less than 10 minutes based on the smart city data hub model by analyzing card payment information, cell phone location, and CCTV information The support system* is a good example.”
*Developed in cooperation with MOLIT and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ('20.3), currently in use by the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local governments, and is negotiating export of the epidemiological investigation support system with interested countries (22 countries) through pan-ministerial collaboration

□Next, the demand-response mobility service “Shucle 1)”, which is being piloted by Sejong City, was boarded directly at the Sejong Government Complex, and smart services such as the health care service 2) installed at the Nambu Health Center were also checked.
1) A transportation service that enables real-time calls by entering the departure point and destination regardless of the location of the bus stop (in Sejong City 1 Living Zone pilot project, '21.4-)
2) Measure your health status (height/weight, blood pressure, body composition, physical strength/posture), receive a customized health checkup through a mobile phone app, and provide periodic management in connection with hospitals (tested at 9 locations in September)

□ Finally, Minister Roh said, “Using smart cities as an experimental space for innovation, supports mobility innovation and new industries, and the sensibility of applying IT technology to urban services in various fields such as transportation, environment, energy, and welfare is improved. We will actively discover high-quality smart services and spread them quickly.”
