  • Provision of smart safe pedestrian facilities to ensure safe right-of-way
  • Establishment/operation of smart crossings for safety at the entrance of Jeju Middle School and Seomun Public Market and prevention of illegal stops (3 places, 6 meals)

② Smart street light / smart bollard light

  • Smart street light service to provide a safe pedestrian environment
    – Through the functional combination of CCTV, microphone, speaker, and size, it immediately recognizes the occurrence of life safety and disaster risk, and disseminates situation information, alarm system
  • Create a safe pedestrian environment and strengthen the safety system by improving the night alley walking environment in Yongdam 1-dong
  • Improvement of street aesthetics, public safety and security function reinforcement through the construction of 30 smart street lamps in Buri Village, Gwegasul Village, and parks
  • Provision of pedestrian recognition-based smart bollard service to secure nighttime walking stability in residentially vulnerable and crime-prone areas
    – Create smart bollard lighting because there are no street lights in densely populated residential areas where the road width is not wide.
    – Provide pedestrian safety service focusing on improving urban aesthetics and energy efficiency through installation of bollard lighting devices based on automatic pedestrian recognition
    – Installation of solar bollard lights along the street in residential environment vulnerable areas (Type 70)

③ Smart parking lot

  • By providing real-time information on the situation of parking spaces for residents/visitors within the project area, shortening the parking roaming time, providing convenience for residents’ transportation life, and activating the local economy by inducing the inflow of Seomun Market by extending the stay time of tourists
    – Creation of a total of 93 smart parking lots in the project area Establishment of smart parking lots and electric vehicle charging facilities for 34 Byeongmuncheon public parking lots and 59 underground parking lots in Seomun public market within the project area
    – Linked to the parking information system for the parking lot (93 pages) linked to the Byeongmuncheon Stream disaster prevention project in Jeju City
    – Outdoor signage installed, total of 6 places (2 places in Byeongmuncheon public parking lot, 4 places around Seomun Public Market)

① Smart media floor service

  • Realization of Digital Biryong Pond in connection with the Biryong Pond Oullim Madang Project [“Enhance the attraction of the central anchor space in the urban regeneration activation area”] – Build an interactive panel in the place where Biryong Pond used to be
    – Establishment of interactive panel and fountain production program
  • Increase citizen satisfaction through the creation of cultural facilities based on the formation of responsive LED facilities
  • Activation of Seomun Market and surrounding commercial areas due to the influx of tourists following the formation of landmarks

② Smart self-diagnosis service

  • Provision of services for self-diagnosis of health for local residents who need frequent health check-ups and management
  • Establishment of convenience services for residents by providing self-directed self-examination services for patients with metabolic syndrome who have difficulty in visiting hospitals and clinics on a regular basis

  • By regenerating the arcade space in the market into a pleasant shopping space, the locational significance of Seomun Market is emphasized and the floating population is promoted.

    – Installation of air curtains for 4 entrances and exits of Seomun Public Market (cooling/heating and insect repellent in the market)
    – Establishment of 2 cold/hot air zones (shelter facilities for market visitors for shopping purposes)
