Along with an overall explanation of the platooning technology, the researchers will present their research results, such as V2X-based platooning vehicle control technology, mobile app-based platooning service technology, and legal and institutional improvement directions for commercialization of platooning. .

The technology demonstration will be held in an approximately 80km section (Yeongdong Line Deokpyeong IC ~ Wonju IC, Jungbu Naeryuk Line Seo Yeoju Service Area ~ Yeoju JC), and we plan to introduce improved vehicle technology and mobile app-based platoon management service.

This year's demonstration added one more vehicle (3 → 4) compared to last year, and expanded the demonstration section (8km → 80km) to realize the actual situation. In addition, it will show more advanced technological achievements by increasing the driving speed* (80km/h→90km/h) and reducing the distance between vehicles (15.6m→12.5m).
