MOLIT establishes 2030 master plan for intelligent transportation system

 The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport reported and confirmed the 「Intelligent Transport System Basic Plan 19」 at the Cabinet meeting presided over by the Prime Minister on October 2030 (Tuesday). 

 This “Intelligent Transportation System” Basic Plan 2030” was established with the vision of 'providing eco-friendly, safe, and uninterrupted people-centered transportation services' with 2030 as the target year.

 The main contents are ① establishment of infrastructure for the introduction of new means of transportation in the future, ② resolving blind spots in traffic safety with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, ③ laying the foundation for providing customized services to users, and ④ support for overseas expansion of domestic intelligent transportation systems. 

Incheon city seeks solutions for future transportation service operation

The city of Incheon worked with experts and people in charge of the transportation department to find a sustainable operation plan for the future transportation bus, I-MOD (demand-response bus). Incheon Metropolitan City announced that on October 27th, 'I-MOD Promotion Status Reporting' was held at Incheon City Hall.
 I-MOD was selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Smart City Challenge contest and is part of the social participation type I-multimodal project being promoted by Incheon City. Incheon City is operating 2020 I-MOD buses from Yeongjong International City in October 7 to Songdo International City and Namdong Industrial Complex in July this year to demonstrate new smart mobility technologies.
 

Bolivian civil servants learn smart city policy in Daejeon

Ulsan City launches 'Smart City Business Council' and holds its first meeting

 Ulsan City announced that it would organize the 'Smart City Business Council' and hold its first meeting on October 28th to improve the quality of life of citizens and city competitiveness, and to contribute to the realization of a sustainable city. The meeting will consist of awarding a letter of appointment, election of vice-chairpersons, a report on the progress of Ulsan's smart city development, an interim report on the smart city basic plan, and discussion.
 The 'Smart City Business Council' is composed of a total of 16 members, and its main role is to discuss overall matters related to the creation of a smart city in Ulsan, such as the smart city construction project implementation plan.
