Exhibition Key Features

As last year’s exhibition was canceled due to COVID-1919, this exhibition strictly followed COVID-19 quarantine rules. In addition to measures such as mandatory mask wearing and provision of hand sanitizers, all participant badges were digitized to strengthen non-face-to-face procedures, and separate ambulances were prepared for symptomatic patients such as fever. In addition, as blood donations decreased due to COVID-19, a blood donation campaign was also held as a CSR event.

PRIMA EQUIPMENTS (Mr.Pritesh Shah, President)

Prima Equipment has been in business since 1992 in Gujarat. The company supplies sensor products for factory automation, such as detection systems and monitoring systems, to factories. Recently, the Indian industry is investing heavily in sensor technology such as factory automation to obtain high-quality products in a limited time. We are purchasing excellent products from Korea, Japan and Germany. In particular, many Indian companies that competed with manpower are trying to improve productivity through technology introduction. Sensors in particular market demand are pressure measurement, temperature, gas detectors and torque sensors. According to Mr.Pritesh Shah, the reason for the increase in demand is that India's production is increasing rapidly due to the growth of mid-sized enterprises, the increase in industrialization and the shortage of international industrial volumes.

implication

Industrial Expo Dahej 2021 was attended by companies from various fields as an industrial exhibition. The fields of the participating companies are analyzed as follows.

A striking feature is that a significant number of companies exhibit for factory automation. This means that factories in India are gradually shifting from manual work to using equipment. As it has the world's second largest population, it has been producing with cheap manpower, but now it is expanding production through precision machinery. Prima's president Shah said that for the time being, jobs will be concentrated in countries with high production capacity due to a lack of production, and that factory automation is an essential gateway to digest the influx of quantities. And since Korea is recognized by Indians as a technology country, if it can preoccupy the market well, it will be a win-win structure for both India and Korea.
