– High evaluation of big data analysis model that guides the beautiful Jeju road –

 Jeju Special Self-Governing Province won the grand prize at the 「2021 Korea Tourism Data Lab Excellent Use Case Contest」.

❍ The 29 cases submitted by local governments, public institutions, and academic research institutes across the country were judged based on the logic and creativity of the content, and the usability of work.

❍ The Provincial Digital Convergence and Big Data Team was honored with the grand prize as a big data analysis model that can implement a detour (slow road) guide service for traveling while enjoying the nature of Jeju through the case of 'building a base material for slow road service' hugged

❍ Based on the results of this analysis, the provincial government has signed a business agreement with Jeju Tourism Organization, Tmap Mobility, and Cheil Worldwide, and is piloting a slow road navigation service that breaks the stereotype of a road guide service that 'provides a quick way to the destination'.

❍ The Ministry of the Interior and Safety public big data youth interns (work-experienced trainees) dispatched to Jeju Island in 2021 to provide professional education and practical experience in administrative and public institutions to young people who want to work in data-related fields It is also characterized by taking the initiative in data processing and analysis practice.
