In order to enable more citizens to enjoy the benefits and to support the activation of public transportation and reduction of carbon emissions, the mileage accumulation conditions have been expanded from the 15th of December last year and the mileage accrual conditions have been expanded.
The main contents of this CityPass mileage benefit improvement are that the mileage provision standard has been doubled from the existing maximum of 20% to 40%, and the transfer time between public transportation and shared transportation has been extended from 30 minutes to 12 hours. In addition, the range of payment methods has also been expanded from CityPass point payment (prepayment through recharging) to credit card payment (deferred payment).
The Smart CityPass app (transportation service) also provides an optimal route guidance service that reflects traffic information including public transportation and shared mobility, and an integrated payment service through CityPass point charging.
Meanwhile, Bucheon City is cooperating with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (Chairman Shin Kwang-ho, Urban Economy Division) so that many citizens can receive various benefits through smart city services.
