1. 240 smart solutions that changed the daily life of citizens

The daily life of citizens is changing in major cities such as Incheon, Daejeon, and Bucheon with the 'Smart City Challenge Project' launched by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport in 2020 (the main project). The Smart City Challenge is a project to solve urban problems such as traffic, environment, and safety using information and communication technology (ICT), and 64 smart infrastructures and services have been spread in a total of 240 cities. In the 'smart city', citizens' travel time was shortened by one hour and illegal parking was eliminated, resulting in a 1% improvement in traffic congestion. The time to dispatch 21/119 to fight 'village' has increased, and the crime rate has decreased by 112%. Traditional market merchants no longer have to worry about fire.

2. Smarter Smart City, a stepping stone for innovative companies to grow

Innovative technologies of ventures and startups that were almost buried because they could not find a suitable source of demand are blooming in smart cities. 3. From developing countries to developed countries, “Please share your experiences and know-how”

Korea's smart city technology is being used to prevent crimes in Turkey, a country on the other side of the world. The integrated platform Samsung SDS is demonstrating in Turkey is a system that prevents crime by linking local CCTV with police and fire stations in real time. When a crime scene is captured by CCTV, the video is immediately shared with the police station, enabling first responders. In 2020, at the request of Gaziantep City, Turkey, our company has established a general plan and is in the process of demonstrating it.
