'Artificial Intelligence (AI)' was selected as the number one invention technology that will change Korea's tomorrow.

Robots took 2nd place, Future cars took 3rd place, followed by Hydrogen and Energy. Biotechnology (bio), aerospace/aerospace, new materials, batteries, and semiconductor technologies were also ranked in the top 10.

The Korean Intellectual Property Office selected 'Top 19 Invention Technologies that Will Change Tomorrow in Korea' selected by the people on the occasion of the '57th Invention Day' on the 10th and announced on the 18th.

This referendum was held in line with this year's Invention Day slogan '#Invention #Opening Tomorrow #Change Korea' to promote the importance of invention in the competition for technological supremacy.

The number of patent applications in the field of artificial intelligence technology in Korea ranks fourth in the world. In particular, artificial intelligence technology is a technology field that the new government has decided to foster as a future strategic industry to secure a super-gap along with technologies such as semiconductors and batteries.

In addition, major countries such as the United States, China, and Japan are responding to the era of technological hegemony by selecting and supporting major technologies such as artificial intelligence as core science and technology and high-tech industries.

Robot technology, which accounted for 13.8%, is a technology field that the new government has presented as a mid- to long-term vision, such as leaping into one of the world's three biggest powers.

Future car technology, which ranks third, is a field in which the global market is rapidly increasing, and Korea is actively supporting it to secure standard patents in key fields.
