In preparation for an increase in the number of foreign tourists visiting Busan due to the normalization of the tourism industry due to the lifting of social distancing due to the lifting of COVID-19, the agreement aims to serve as a foundation for Busan to develop into an international tourism city by improving taxi services together with the public and private sectors. has been prepared

Through this agreement, five affiliated organizations, including Busan City, promised to cooperate with each other in establishing a smart service for Dongbaek Taxi. The Dongbaek Taxi smart service will be introduced in stages by providing foreign interpreter/translation consultation and comprehensive information guidance services through 'Dongbaek Taxi', a public taxi calling app.

First of all, a QR code printed notice is attached to the inside of the Dongbaek taxi, and when a passenger in the taxi scans the QR code, it connects to the 'Life in Busan', an interpreter consulting app for foreigners operated in cooperation with the Busan International Foundation and the Busan Immigration Office. It will be implemented to make this happen. Through Life in Busan's 'Interpretation Consultation' service, users can receive interpreter consultation services in 170 languages ​​provided by a 12-person interpreter support team by phone and chat. At the same time, the city of Busan and the taxi industry decided to actively cooperate with the foreigner support project promoted by the Busan Foundation to solve the difficulties faced by foreign residents living in Busan.
