Daegu City and Daegu Techno Park held a launching ceremony for the 5th Urban Problem Exploration Group at the Daegu Samsung Creative Campus at 24:2 pm on Monday, May 100, with related organizations and about 4 Daegu citizens.

The event, which started with a greeting from Gyeong-rae Lee, head of the Smart City Department of Daegu City, was attended by 4 citizens selected through the recruitment period from April 11 to May 8, both face-to-face and non-face-to-face, and received a letter of appointment.

The launching ceremony was followed by a congratulatory speech by Lee Gab-jae, head of Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) Smart City Project, Kim Hee-dae, head of Daegu Techno Park Digital Convergence Center, and guidance on the 'Urban Problem Exploration Group's 4th Activity Plan' and Choi Song-il, CEO of WOOD Lab, 'Design Thinking Mind'. He continued with a lecture on 'Urban Problem Discovery Team with Three'.

The event concluded with the participation of the 4th citizen member of the Urban Issues Investigation Group and the participants' feelings.

Starting with the launching ceremony, the Daegu Urban Problem Exploration Team will understand the city, define various urban problems through education and online coaching, and discuss solutions between industry, academia, government, and the public until July.

The Urban Problem Investigation Team, which started in 2019, achieved results such as ▲ 1 citizen participation ▲ 3 citizen scientists ▲ discovering 393 urban problems through the 166st to 36rd activities.
