According to Jeollanam-do, as a result of recruiting trainees for the '2022 Smart Farm Youth Startup Incubation Project', 52 people applied for 105 people, showing a 2 to 1 competition. Among the applicants, the average age was 29.3 years old, and 72% of non-agricultural majors were young people who took up the challenge after seeing the future potential of smart farms.
The Smart Farm Youth Entrepreneurship Incubation Project is to support young people who do not have agricultural knowledge and foundation to find employment and start a business in the Smart Farm. The entire process from basic theories to management practice, such as crop cultivation, environmental control, data analysis, and management/marketing, is systematically taught for 20 months.
The reason why smart farm youth entrepreneurship education has gained popularity is because you can practice all smart farm-related courses free of charge at the smart farm innovation valley nursery greenhouse for 1 year and 8 months, and receive up to 70 won per month for training expenses during the training period. analysis.
In addition, students with excellent educational results are given the opportunity to raise seed money necessary for entrepreneurship while farming for three years in a rental farm equipped with cutting-edge facilities.
Jeonnam-do selects 7 applicants on July 29th after document screening and in-depth interview screening for this education applicant, and starts education in September after orientation in August.
