Gyeongnam Fire Department (Chief Kim Jong-geun) announced on the 7th that the 39th Division (located in Gunbuk-myeon, Haman-gun) held the '1st Gyeongnam Fire Drone Contest'.
The competition was held to improve piloting skills and exchange technologies using advanced equipment (drones) at disaster sites. A total of 2 people from 1 teams participated in a team of two people who were qualified to fly a drone. The main events are ▲ search for collapsed buildings, ▲ search for parks, and ▲ simulator.
Rescue Manager Noh Jong-rae said, “The use of fire-fighting drones at disaster sites is gradually increasing.” “With this competition as an opportunity, all disaster sites such as search for ignition points, rescue and search, etc. We will do our best to strengthen our response capabilities.”
Meanwhile, the results of the 1st Gyeongnam Fire Drone Contest are 1st place Gimhae Fire Station, 2nd place Hapcheon Fire Station, and 3rd place Haman Fire Station.
