Gwangmyeong City (Mayor Park Seung-won) announced that it will start the performance demonstration phase of the 2021 robot use contest to support the socially disadvantaged, hosted by the Korea Robot Industry Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The contest for benefit support for the socially disadvantaged using robots is a project in which local governments and participating organizations (executing organizations, supply organizations) form a consortium to distribute caring robots to the socially disadvantaged and verify their performance.
Gwangmyeong City participated in October last year along with Gwangmyeong Social Welfare Center and Global Standard Technology Co., Ltd. and was selected as a business operator. After signing an agreement in January of this year, the project execution period lasted about 1 months, and the first project result evaluation report was held on the 5th.
With a total project cost of 3 million won, this project provides a care service robot (Bomi-II) to 6 single-person households from the socially disadvantaged every three months. After that, the Gwangmyeong Social Welfare Center, the project lead organization, will conduct full-scale verification by 7 using the ▲ Depression Scale (GDS-K) ▲ Cognitive Screening Test (CIST) ▲ Life Satisfaction Survey (LSIZ).
The caring service robot Bomi-II is capable of autonomous driving, ▲Daily care through user recognition ▲Interaction function between users using sensors ▲Data utilization 1:1 personalized cognitive training education service ▲Customized service for each user, etc. Content upgrades and customization will be provided continuously during the period.
