Seniors aged 65 and over living in Sejong City will receive non-face-to-face health care services through digital devices at home from the second half of this year.

Sejong City Public Health Center (Director Lim Young-sil) announced on the 10th that it was recently selected for the 'AI (Artificial Intelligence)/IoT (Internet of Things)-based health care pilot project for the elderly', a public contest for the Ministry of Health & Welfare pilot project.

With the selection of this project, 50% of the project cost will be supported by the government, and starting in July, non-face-to-face health management services will be provided for the elderly who need chronic disease management and health management behavior improvement.

This project is a project that provides various devices such as smartphones to the elderly over the age of 65 and provides continuous, non-face-to-face management to the elderly so that they can strengthen their own health management capabilities.

When selected as a project target, after checking their health status, such as blood pressure and blood sugar measurement, equipment such as an activity meter, blood glucose meter, blood pressure meter, and weight scale are provided to the target person. the way you get it.

The project target is scheduled to be recruited from the 15th, and anyone 65 years of age or older with a smartphone can apply, and 150 people will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Sejong City Public Health Center plans to make a final selection after determining whether it is possible to link information between smartphone models and devices.
