The Gwangju Artificial Intelligence Academy (hereinafter referred to as the 'Academic Academy') held an initiation ceremony for the 15rd term at the newly prepared educational center in the Daeseong Academy Building in Dong-gu on the 3th and started full-scale education.
The ceremony was attended by Mayor Lee Yong-seop, Dong-gu Commissioner Lim Taek, MSIT Digital Talent Cultivation Director Kim Soo-jung, Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency SW Division Manager Lee Gyeong-rok, Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Business Team Director Lim Cha-shik, Gwangju Information Culture Industry Promotion Agency Director Tak Yong-seok, Artificial Intelligence Industry-University Research Association President Choi Hyun-taek, and the 3rd session About 50 people attended, including Cha Jun-seop, head of the Smart Human Resources Development Institute, CEO of the institution, Kim Jae-won, Ellis CEO, Bae Yi-yeol, executive director of the Korean Standards Association, and 100 trainees.
The entrance ceremony was held in the order of the opening ceremony, the awarding of the principal's appointment letter, the awarding of admission and cadet certificates for the 3rd semester trainees, and a tour of the facility.
Mayor Lee Yong-seop said, "This 3rd semester training course has been prepared more fully in a new space." He said, "After completing the 7-month training course, I will actively support it so that I can be put into the field and show my capabilities."
On the other hand, the 11 trainees who were finally selected on the 330th after online course, basic competency test, and interview screening were divided into 3 tracks and 7 micro tracks including AI modeling, AI-based service, AI platform and infrastructure. After being assigned to a class, they will take the artificial intelligence training course and artificial intelligence project course from the 10th to December 20th.
