– Recruitment of 7 young people in the province by July 11th
– Provide training for new technologies in the 4th industry and job opportunities to foster local talents in the future industry
Gyeongsangnam-do announced that it would promote the '2022 Smart Indoor Spatial Information DB Construction Project' to foster local talent for future growth industries and prevent disasters and safety using digital twin technology.
This project is to build 3D modeling, which is the core of digital twin for minimizing damage from disasters and predicting and diagnosing urban problems. The constructed 3D data is combined with advanced technologies such as communication and Internet of Things to provide emergency rescue, It is used in various fields such as facility safety management and disaster preparedness simulation, and is expected to create new added value in related industries.
In connection with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety regionally-led youth job creation project (type 3), 33 young people were hired from companies selected through the Public Procurement Service bid to create a 26D indoor spatial information database in 3 places including multi-use facilities. build

Heo Dong-sik, director of Gyeongnam Provincial Urban Transport Bureau, said, “The smart indoor spatial information construction project is very meaningful in that the 3D modeling data built by young people in the province is utilized for disaster and safety of residents. Based on the job experience of performing tasks, it is expected that the young people will become the foundation for the growth of local talents in Gyeongnam.”
