New training in AI smart field in Changwon City and connection with corporate field practice
Changwon Special City announced on the 22nd that it held an integrated education course business briefing session for 2022 ICT companies in Changwon City and young job seekers as part of the 30 Manufacturing AI Manpower Smart-Up Project at the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency's Employment Stability Support Education Center.
The “Manufacturing AI Manpower Smart-Up Project,” which the city is promoting with an investment of 1 million won from this year, is to train experts in the AI field for college graduates, unemployed, and incumbents in related fields, and to apply smart technology to the field and specialize The main goal is to prevent the outflow of local youth and create jobs through establishment of institutional foundations such as the institution's educational infrastructure and employment linkage system.
This integrated training course business briefing session connects 「Smart Factory AI and Big Data Utilization Basic Education」 scheduled to be held from July and 「ICT Innovation Square Expansion Project – Artificial Intelligence (AI) Linked Corporate Field Practice Project」 promoted by the Gyeongnam Techno Park Information Industry Promotion Headquarters. Young job seekers are provided with training tailored to the needs of companies in the digital field, and companies are supported with project development costs and mentoring costs through on-the-job training for prospective hires.
In the future, various support programs such as one-on-one employment consulting and special lectures on employment, and job training for incumbents to strengthen their AI smart field competency after employment will be carried out in order to strengthen job and job search capabilities for trainees in the future.
Hyo-Jong Ryu, director of the Smart Innovation Industry Bureau, said, “This project, which is starting this year, is nurturing AI experts in manufacturing in line with the business environment that is becoming smarter and realizing job linkage, thereby securing high-quality manpower for companies and helping young workers stably in the region.
