– The Foundation won the grand prize in the intelligent service group category for the 'artificial intelligence sewer pipe fault detection system'
– AI reads CCTV to automatically determine defect types and locations… Detection accuracy↑, reading time↓ Preemptive accident prevention
– Foundation special session at ICEC 2022… Presentation on 5 Topics on Digital Transformation and Bridging the Gap
□ The Seoul Digital Foundation (Chairman Yosik Kang) announced on the 2022nd that it had won the grand prize in the intelligent service group category at the '22 Intelligence Awards'.
○ The Intelligence Grand Prize is awarded to organizations and individuals who have taken the lead in social and technological change based on intelligent information systems by the Korea Institute of Intelligent Information Systems every year. (ICEC) co-hosted.
□ The Seoul Digital Foundation's Intelligent Service Grand Prize at this conference is awarded when it is recognized for its contribution to the development of intelligent services using business intelligence, big data analysis, and data mining.
□ The Seoul Digital Foundation's 'Artificial Intelligence Sewer Defect Detection System', which won the Intelligence Grand Prize, is a system that automatically identifies defects in the CCTV images of sewer pipelines using 'computer vision technology' that recognizes images and images by a computer.
□ In the past, the detection of defects in sewer pipelines was a method in which inspectors visually read CCTV video data of a circular sewer pipeline with a total length of 9 km across Seoul. However, if the 'artificial intelligence-based sewage pipeline defect detection system' is used, the accuracy of defect detection can be improved and the reading time can be dramatically shortened.
□ When the 'artificial intelligence-based sewage pipeline defect detection system' is introduced, the city of Seoul expects to be able to prevent accidents by preemptively taking measures such as repairs.
□ Meanwhile, the Seoul Digital Foundation held a special session at the 'International E-Commerce Conference (ICEC) 2022' held on the same day and announced five topics related to digital transformation and bridging the gap.
□ As an example of using big data analysis results to improve administrative work in Seoul, ▲ IoT infrastructure policy utilization in smart cities (responsible for Park Ji-hye) ▲ public Wi-Fi hotspot location analysis based on spatiotemporal and floating population analysis (Ji Tae-hoon appointed) was introduced.
□ Digital transformation and digital disparity research outcomes include: ▲ Consideration on the use of digital technology in the construction sector following the enforcement of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act (Seoltae Koh appointed) ▲ Introduction and use of GeoAI-based urban change detection service (Soojin Baek appointed) ▲ Senior-friendly digital Announcing the development of accessibility standards (Director Min-Jeong Kang).
□ In a congratulatory speech, Kang Kang-sik, president of the Seoul Digital Foundation, said, “The non-face-to-face culture is becoming commonplace and digital transformation is hastening in society and the economy as a whole.” We will do our best to ensure that all citizens can enjoy the benefits of digital services without being alienated.”
