ㅇ The K-City network project, which started in 20, has promoted 21 cooperative projects in 19 countries (21 cities) by 23. Including the projects selected this year, a total of 21 countries (31 cities) 33 cooperative projects will be promoted.

□ This year's K-City network project was divided into ① smart city planning and ② overseas demonstration of smart solutions, and an international contest was held for two months from March, and 3 projects were submitted from 17 countries.

ㅇ For the applied projects, 10 projects were selected by comprehensively considering the feasibility of a smart city and the preparation status of the application area through a screening committee composed of experts.

ㅇ For the smart city master plan establishment project, KRW 3 million to 5 million is supported for each project, and domestic companies are selected to establish a basic plan or conduct a feasibility study through cooperation with the target country.

- Domestic companies for business implementation are planning to select companies with excellent technological capabilities and high local understanding due to the establishment of a network with the relevant country (announcement at the end of June, selection in July).

ㅇ For the overseas demonstration project of smart solutions, the government will support 2 million won each for the two projects, and Korean companies with technology will demonstrate solutions locally and seek ways to spread them.
The government will strengthen cooperation in the smart city field with foreign governments or cities so that the K-City network project can be effectively implemented, and actively support the project by holding workshops with domestic and foreign experts in the field and road shows for technology introduction. going out
