– Competition for construction sites from the 28th… 4 times the size of the support project compared to the previous year –
□Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport and the National Land Safety & Security Agency announced plans to hold a public contest for the smart construction safety support pilot project (hereinafter referred to as the support project), which is being promoted to spread the smart construction safety system using advanced technology, from June 6 to July 28.
ㅇ The support project is a project to support the installation and operation of smart construction safety equipment, such as intelligent (AI) CCTV, structural collapse/displacement hazard warning equipment, etc. at small and medium-sized construction sites under 300 billion won.
ㅇ Last year, as a self-project of the Homeland Security Agency, it was implemented for 12 locations in the Yeongnam area.
ㅇ MOLIT said that the support project is expected to have the effect of improving the construction safety management of small and medium-sized construction sites where safety management is weak and promoting the spread of smart safety technology.

ㅇ To ensure fairness and professionalism, a steering committee including external experts will be formed to comprehensively evaluate and review the scale of construction, remaining construction period, and presence or absence of risky construction.
ㅇ The period of support for installation and operation of equipment is adjusted according to the conditions of the site, but supports up to one year.
