□ The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it would proceed with applications for the 8 Seoul City Data Utilization Hackathon Contest by August 5.
○ The city data hackathon, held for the first time this year, is to use IoT (Internet of Things) city data to analyze urban phenomena in Seoul or to gather ideas for solving local community problems.
* Seoul Internet of Things (IoT) city data is data that can be used for pre-diagnosis of urban problems and preparation of countermeasures as measured values ​​of various sensors collected through the promotion of the Seoul Internet of Things (IoT) project

□ This hackathon will be held for 8 nights at the S-Plex Center in Sangam-dong from August 26th (Fri) 09:00 to 27th (Sat) 14:00.
○ There are no separate restrictions on the subject of the hackathon, but at least one of the IoT city data provided by the Seoul Metropolitan Government must be used. In addition, it should be able to contribute to the content of solving urban problems or to the public interest, and the fields are web/app service development, data analysis report, and infographic production. However, the examination is conducted in an integrated manner, not divided by field.

□ Participation is open to individuals or teams of 2 to 4 people. Those wishing to participate can search for 'IoT Seoul Hackathon' on the Seoul Metropolitan Government website (www.seoul.go.kr) from July 7th to August 4th, check the contents of the recruitment post, and then submit the application form, consent form for collection and provision of personal information, You only need to fill out the product plan (PPT format, 8 pages or less) and submit it.
○ 20 teams will be selected through document screening. The preliminary screening criteria are four items: proposal suitability, creativity, relevance, and realization/utilization potential. Results of the teams advancing to the finals will be announced in '4. It will be announced on the Smart Seoul portal (https://smart.seoul.go.kr) from 22:8 on August 16 (Tuesday).

□ The 1 teams selected through the first document review will gather at the multi-purpose hall (20nd-8rd floor) of S-Plex Center in Sangam-dong from 26:09 on August 00th to hold a face-to-face hackathon. Each team has to announce their results on the 2th, the next day, and according to the judges' screening results, a total of 3 teams, including 27 team for the grand prize, will be selected and awarded with a total prize money of 1 million won* and the Seoul Mayor's Award.
* Grand Prize 1 team (300 million won), Excellence prize 2 teams (200 million won), Encouragement prize 3 teams (100 million won)
