In addition, since last June, the county has been promoting self-inspection of 6 walls, protrusions, rooftops, and signboards used by props that have been permitted and reported in the province according to the 'plan for safety inspection of outdoor advertisements in preparation for flood damage in Chungbuk-do'.
Based on the results, a total of 70 signboards, including protruding signboards and high-rise signboards that are in danger of falling due to aging or damage, were selected and joint sample inspection with related organizations was conducted.

Ahn Jin-seok, head of the architectural culture department of Chungbuk Province, said, “There was a limit to the precise inspection of high-rise signboards or advertisements that were difficult to access by personnel, such as the risk of accidents by inspectors.”
“We plan to continuously expand the safety inspection of advertisements using drones while improving the safety inspection of advertisements through collaboration between departments,” he said.

Meanwhile, the provincial government plans to complete the inspection of samples for each city and county by the 5th and notify the inspection results to the city and county to take measures such as repair, reinforcement, and demolition.
