Seongnam City is piloting a 'Safe Return Service' from July 9415 that connects and utilizes 7 CCTVs for crime prevention in the region and a smartphone app.

This service is a structure in which the current location is automatically transmitted to the CCTV integrated control center on the 8th floor of Seongnam City Hall and designated guardians when a user who has installed the 'Home Safe' app faces a dangerous situation by shaking his/her smartphone or pressing the emergency button. .

When receiving an emergency location notification signal, police officers and control personnel working at the control center check the user's situation with CCTV around the location, and if it is determined to be a crime or accident, it notifies the competent police station or fire station.

The safe golden time can be secured as the police and rescue workers can quickly dispatch.

This service was introduced by 17 cities and counties in Gyeonggi-do, including Seongnam, Anyang, Gwangmyeong, Ansan, Gwacheon, Siheung, Gunpo, Uiwang, Yangpyeong, Hanam, Bucheon, Dongducheon, Yongin, Anseong, Pyeongtaek, Uijeongbu, and Guri. is also available.

Unlike other cities and counties, Seongnam City has added a citizen patrol companion application function to the safe return service.

Citizen patrol corps accompaniment is carried out on weekdays from 10:1 p.m. to 3:1 a.m. for women and teenagers who go home alone from Sinheung 2-dong, Sujin 1-dong, Seongnam-dong, Geumgwang XNUMX-dong, and Seohyeon XNUMX-dong.
