To commemorate the 36th anniversary of the establishment of the Korea Transport Institute, the Korea Transportation Research Institute is holding an international seminar, 'Mobility vs. Transition: A New National Strategy for Korea'.

The Korea Transport Institute, which has led the SOC investment efficiency, public transportation-oriented system, and transportation and logistics industry advancement, is now facing a new challenge of mobility versus mobility. The mobility-to-mobility transition triggered by the 4th industrial revolution and climate change crisis is rapidly advancing, centering on autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, and shared vehicles.

It is time for a national strategy to build a transition ecosystem including the automobile industry, digital infrastructure, mobility services, and laws and institutions. The International Seminar commemorating the 36th anniversary of the Korea Transportation Research Institute will serve as a forum for public discussion to develop Korea into a global mobility powerhouse.
