○ On the 21st, the province held a report on the completion of the data analysis model advancement project

– Utilizing protection zones and pedestrian accident data, displaying accident points for vulnerable groups in traffic safety and predicting risk zones

– Monitoring the real estate market, such as the actual transaction price of apartments, and drawing regional activity using urban regeneration analysis indicators

– Analysis of integrated case management to provide appropriate services for the socially underprivileged

Gyeonggi-do has established a regular data analysis service in areas closely related to the lives of citizens, such as predicting accident risk zones by analyzing information on child/elderly protection zones and pedestrian traffic accidents, and deriving regional real estate market transaction status and regional activity.

On the 21st, Gyeonggi-do held a report on the completion of the '2022 Data Analysis Model Advancement Project' at the Gyeonggi Bio Center in Suwon and announced the results of this analysis.

The data analysis model advancement project is to provide consumer-oriented customized administrative services through the continuous use of verified analysis models. At the briefing, ▲Analysis of protection zones for the vulnerable in traffic safety ▲Analysis of monitoring of the real estate market ▲Analysis of the current status of integrated case management, etc. Three permanent services were announced.

First, the analysis of protection zones for the vulnerable in traffic safety divides Gyeonggi-do into grids of 50 × 50m in size, and uses information from telecommunications companies for each grid to classify the floating population of children (under 14 years old) and senior citizens (over 65 years old) into 10 stages. do. In addition, 4 cases of traffic accident data and protection zones designated by Gyeonggi-do were added and visualized.

The province predicted and recommended accident-prone risk zones by integrating this data with information by type of child/elderly pedestrian accidents, population, building status, related facilities such as elementary schools/senior citizen centers, and apartment housing information.

Previously, the Gyeonggi-do Southern Autonomous Police Commission conducted on-site inspections using the analysis results of the model, conducted traffic enforcement against habitual law violations in 163 vulnerable sections this year, and repaired 340 pedestrian safety facilities. The province expects to promote the establishment of a safe walking plan for the transportation vulnerable by actively utilizing the regular traffic safety analysis service in the future.

Real estate market monitoring analysis is a service that uses real estate information such as the actual transaction price and transaction volume of apartments to analyze the rate of change in market price by administrative dong/apartment complex, the current status of sales by outsiders by region/period, and factors that affect apartment market prices.

In addition, urban regeneration analysis indicators such as business change, population change, ratio of aged buildings, economically active population, and aging index, floating population, and card sales information, which are open data of the urban regeneration comprehensive information system, are comprehensively utilized to derive regional activity. It will support related policies and decision-making.

For the integrated case management analysis, the counseling records of the Korea Social Security Information Service were analyzed and the areas of need/provided services provided by city/county/period were provided in the form of tables and graphs. In addition, an environment in which the current status of services by city and county can be shared has been created by searching for specific service providers and comparing services provided with other regions in Gyeonggi-do.

In the meantime, case management has been carried out according to individual circumstances, but it was promoted to resolve the concerns of field departments who are experiencing difficulties in linking and developing resources that meet their needs due to a lack of regional analysis data.

The province will provide data analysis services through the analysis portal (insight.gg.go.kr) through the final opinion of the person in charge of the relevant department from January next year.

“This project focused on providing an analysis service that can support an objective policy-making method based on data, away from the subjective judgment of the person in charge or decision-maker,” said Kim Hyun-do, director general of future growth policy. We will do our best to realize science administration that utilizes it.”
