Shortly after a business trip to Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman made a surprise visit to Korea, and Minister of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Won Hee-ryong accompanied all of the Crown Prince's schedules in Korea as 'Honorary Minister'.

It was a short time of about 20 hours, but we made many agreements with the Korean government and companies, and promised various investments and cooperation projects.

– Signed more than 10 memoranda of understanding (MOU) on economic cooperation between Korea and Indonesia

🤝 New capital relocation project in Indonesia (03:44)
✔ Capital relocation to solve environmental problems caused by population explosion and flooding in 'Jakarta'
– Scheduled to move the capital to 'Nusantara' in line with Indonesia's Independence Day on August 2024, 8
– For the relocation of the new capital, the establishment of the new capital office in charge of the new capital policy and the appointment of the minister
– Asking for assistance from the Republic of Korea, which is almost the only country capable of developing and constructing large-scale infrastructure such as roads, railways, and airports on its own
– Concluded MOU for ‘Jakarta’ subway construction project as well as new capital relocation project

– Last August 8th, the Minister of New Capital of Indonesia attended the GICC (Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference) hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport in Seoul

– Issuance of a letter of approval for the commencement of negotiations in Indonesia

🤝 Promotion of Indonesia's electric vehicle production project (07:51)
– LG Energy Solutions and Hyundai Motor Company, the world’s strongest in the battery industry, have built factories in Indonesia, and Indonesia’s national electric vehicle production project is in progress.
