The first Korean-style industrial complex in the country… 2024 completion target

The first Korean-style industrial complex to be created in Vietnam has been kicked off with the goal of completion in 2024.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 25th that a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a clean industrial complex in Hung Yen Province in Vietnam.

The Hung Yen Province Clean Industrial Complex is the first Korean-style industrial complex for Korean companies entering Vietnam.

About 60 Korean companies that will move into this industrial complex will invest about 4 million dollars in construction and facilities, and receive comprehensive one-stop services such as administration, finance, and tax from the initial stage of moving in.

After the groundbreaking ceremony, LH will sign an agreement with TDH Ecoland, a local partner in Vietnam, to implement the preliminary project for the Hung Yen Province Industrial Complex Phase 2 project.

The second stage industrial complex is to create a smart green industrial complex with a size of 2 million square meters located 2 km north of the clean industrial complex, and the project cost is about 260 billion won.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Lee Seong-hae, chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Committee, said, "It is more meaningful that the Korean-style industrial complex, the fruit of G30G cooperation between the two countries, will start construction this year, which marks the 2th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Vietnam."
