April 4 Opens a forum for public discussion on the smart city planning service (draft)

Public Hearing After gathering the opinions of the military and citizens, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport entered into a request for approval

Hongcheon-gun (Governor Shin Young-jae) held a public hearing for Hongcheon-gun smart city planning establishment service (plan) at the Hongcheon Culture and Arts Center on April 4.

 

Daeyoung Ubitec Co., Ltd. (CEO Geun-hwan Cho) was in charge of the service, and to solve various local problems in Hongcheon, ICT technology in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution was used to improve the quality of life of the county and to improve the economic, social, and environmental impacts of Hongcheon-gun. It is to prepare a mid- to long-term plan (draft) for five years (5-2023) targeting the whole of Hongcheon-gun to enhance sustainability.

 

In Hongcheon-gun, 1,148 county residents participated in a survey, and interviews were conducted with various residents, including local community representatives such as residents' associations, return-to-farming friendship groups, village communities, and social cooperatives, youth, youth, soldiers, seniors in their 80s, and women in their 20s. The first priority was to listen to the voices of the citizens and reflect them in the establishment of smart city planning.

 

Through this public hearing, Hongcheon-gun presented an analysis of the current situation, a vision and goal for solving the problem, and a specific solution plan.

 

Shin Yeong-jae, county governor, said, "The reason why we put the voices of the residents first is because we wanted to create a smart city that changes the daily lives of the residents." I will make it a rule,” he said.
