Notice of approval of smart demonstration project plan

Pursuant to Article 50 of the Act on Smart Cities Development and Industrial Promotion, etc., the smart demonstration project plan is approved and announced as follows.

 

 

  1. Approval of smart demonstration project plan for crosswalk pedestrian safety integrated system applying automatic pedestrian recognition technology

 

ㅇProject details: Demonstration of the operation of a pedestrian safety system that integrates the system of floor-type pedestrian traffic lights, pedestrian extension system, automatic pedestrian recognition signal, and voice guidance assistance device in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul

ㅇ Special regulations

– In relation to the Road Traffic Act, ‘temporary permission to install and operate an integrated crosswalk pedestrian safety system using automatic pedestrian recognition technology’

ㅇ Demonstration business operator: ETX Co., Ltd.

ㅇ Demonstration project period: 20 months from the project start date

 

  1. Using eco-friendly vehicles  APPApproval of smart demonstration project plan for basic school transportation service

ㅇ Project details: Demonstration of eco-friendly school bus operation in Incheon Metropolitan City that provides real-time location information and user boarding/disembarking confirmation for students in various schools under the jurisdiction of the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education

ㅇ Special regulations

– In relation to the 「Enforcement Decree of the Passenger Transport Business Act」, ‘Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education entered into a charter bus transportation contract on behalf of the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education to temporarily allow the operation of school buses that can be used by students from various schools under its jurisdiction.’
