– Digital logistics platform strategy and logistics fact-finding research service final report meeting held

Gyeongsangnam-do (Governor Park Wan-soo) held the final report on the Gyeongnam Digital Logistics Platform Strategy and Logistics Survey Research Service at the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center on the afternoon of the 7th.

 

This final report meeting was attended by related experts from Gyeongnam Technopark, Changwon National University, Inje University, and Korea Transport Institute, as well as researchers from the Seokyeong University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, and exchanged various opinions on environmental changes in the logistics industry and ways to improve the effectiveness of the proposed project.

 

This study was conducted after Gyeongnam Province was selected for the 2023 Digital Logistics Service Demonstration Support Contest hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport. It analyzed logistics conditions in Gyeongnam Province and developed a plan for fostering the logistics industry based on on-site expert advice and actual survey results. In order to find new strategies, the Seokyeong University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation has been carrying out the project since October last year.

 

On this day, Professor Mo Moo-gi of the Seokyeong University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, who is in charge of research, presented the vision of 'Gyeongsangnam-do leading global K-logistics' and said that Gyeongnam-do will utilize manufacturing infrastructure to create an industrial transition environment to prepare for the future and build a logistics system to support this. stated that this is essential.

 

For this purpose, 13 projects were proposed, including support for the expansion of the logistics certification system, advanced logistics equipment subscription (rental) and group purchase service projects, and establishment of an integrated logistics digital ecosystem.

 

Kim Young-sam, Director of the Gyeongnam Provincial Transportation and Construction Bureau, said, “It is necessary to prepare a strategy in line with the logistics industry revitalization policy being promoted by the government,” and added, “We will closely review the research reported today to promote new projects, improve systems, and implement pilot projects.” “We will do our best to ensure that the logistics industry can become a new growth engine for the Gyeongnam economy, including by making suggestions to .”
