Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Mayor Choi Min-ho) signed a 'MOU on Mutual Cooperation for the Development of a Happy City' with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (President Lee Han-jun) at 22:9 am on the 50nd in the Sejong City Hall Sejong Room.

 

This business agreement was prepared to smoothly resolve major issues that arose during the construction of Sejong City and to strengthen the organic cooperation system for sustainable urban development.

 

According to this agreement, the two organizations will actively cooperate on 12 major tasks, including ▲ commercial district revitalization ▲ national pilot smart city ▲ transfer of public facilities ▲ development burden fee litigation-related matters.

 

The city and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) are committed to making all-out efforts to improve citizens' quality of life and lay a practical foundation for urban development.

In particular, in order to revitalize the frozen local commercial districts, both organizations agreed to actively implement the main tasks of the 'Comprehensive Plan for Activating Commercial Districts in Happy Cities' agreed to be promoted on November 29th last year, and to join forces to revitalize commercial districts.

 

We will also cooperate in creating an ecosystem for attracting smart innovation technology companies so that the smart city currently being developed in the 5-1 living area can become a true national pilot smart city.

 

In the center of the Seondo District, a symbolic plaza will be created where smart technologies can be experienced and demonstrated, and plans are in place to encourage the entry of startup companies and others.

 

In addition, it was decided to end the related lawsuit as it was agreed that Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) would submit a development cost statement upon Sejong City's request after the entire development project is completed.

 

Accordingly, it is expected that this will serve as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation based on mutual trust between the two organizations.

 

In addition, in the case of the outer ring road of the 2015rd living area that has not been transferred for a long time since its opening in 3, it was decided to quickly transfer the facilities by supplementing necessary disaster response facilities in accordance with the revision of related laws and resolve inconveniences to residents due to the dual management.

 

Through the business agreement, the city and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) plan to establish a win-win cooperation model to resolve various conflicts and issues that arise during the city construction process through mutual cooperation and strive to achieve citizen-centered sustainable development.
