□ Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-joon) announced that it will hold the “2026 Busan-type Anchor Company Promotion Support Project Briefing Session and Busan AI Transformation Forum – Manucon* AX” hosted by Busan Techno Park at 1:30 PM today (the 23rd) at the 2nd floor convention hall of Busan City Hotel in Yeonje-gu. * Manucon: A compound word of manufacture and unicorn.
○ This event was organized to share key agendas for regional manufacturing AI transformation, with the goal of creating an innovation ecosystem for regional manufacturing AI transformation (AX) centered on Busan-type anchor companies.
□ The event will begin with an explanation session on the 2026 ‘Busan-type Anchor Company’ development support project, and will introduce ▲ an overview of the Manucon project ▲ information on recruiting Manucon 3rd batch companies ▲ and the 2026 business promotion direction.
○ The briefing session will introduce the direction of the 2026 Busan-type anchor company fostering support project, along with key support items for this year, including ▲leading the regional manufacturing industry's artificial intelligence transition (AX) ▲expanding open innovation ▲linking investment and financial support ▲supporting 'test bed' demonstrations.

□ The upcoming 'Busan AI Transformation Forum - Manucon AX' will share artificial intelligence (AI) transformation strategies and field application cases for regional manufacturing, centered around 'Busan-type anchor companies.'
○ The main program consists of ▲ a keynote speech by Professor Kim Seong-hee of Dong-eui University on ‘Global trends in manufacturing artificial intelligence transformation (AX) and regional industrial innovation strategies’ ▲ a presentation by Park Chun-hwa, General Manager of Hyosung Electric Co., Ltd. on ‘Demand for artificial intelligence (AI) transformation in manufacturing sites – Case study of Manucon Company’ ▲ a presentation by Kim Jeong-yeop, CEO of IljujiNS Co., Ltd. on ‘Application cases of artificial intelligence transformation (AX)/digital transformation (DX) in regional manufacturing companies’.
○ In addition, LG CNS Team Leader Jongseong Park will share the major risks companies face in the process of introducing manufacturing AI and practical response strategies in the topic of ‘Manufacturing AI Transition (AX) User Manual – Suggestions to Avoid Failure.’
