In accordance with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport's "2026 Autonomous Driving Demonstration City Promotion Plan," we are recruiting participants for the "2026 Autonomous Driving Demonstration City Development Project," which will develop autonomous driving technologies and operate services, to ensure smooth project implementation.

1. Overview
ㅇ Business name : 2026 Autonomous Driving Demonstration City Development Project
ㅇ Recruitment period : February 6, 2026* - March 13 (36 days)
* Briefing session for participating businesses (Government Sejong Convention Center International Conference Hall, February 6, 2:14 PM)
ㅇ Project period : Agreement Date ~ December 31, 2026*
* However, the agreement period and contents may be extended and changed depending on the phased verification goals of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport's 'Autonomous Driving Demonstration City' project.
ㅇ Budget Support
– ('26년) Support of up to KRW 558 billion in national funds (differentiated budget support based on selection evaluation results)
2. Participation Eligibility
A domestic corporation that is developing autonomous driving-related technologies and has its headquarters located in Korea.
ㅇ Must have a record of temporary operation permit for autonomous vehicles in accordance with the proviso to Article 27, Paragraph 1 of the Automobile Management Act.
* Only when the “user of the vehicle with the temporary operating permit” and the “applicant” who participated in the announcement are the same person is recognized.
** Application qualifications are based on the announcement date. For detailed application qualification requirements, please refer to the “2026 Autonomous Driving Demonstration City Development Project Participation Business Recruitment Guide” (attached).
3. Evaluation method (see announcement for details)
ㅇ (Evaluation procedure) Application documents* received → Evaluation committee formed → Preliminary review → Written evaluation → On-site evaluation → Comprehensive review → Agreement signed
* Even if there is only one participating business, the evaluation process can proceed without a separate re-announcement. If there are no participating businesses or no qualified businesses are selected, a re-announcement can be conducted.
** Detailed evaluation schedule and location will be separately announced to businesses that have applied for participation after the application deadline.
