In accordance with Articles 27 and 36 of the Act on Smart City Creation and Industrial Promotion, the following announcement is made to select support targets for the "2026 Smart City National Pilot Smart City Innovation Service Model Verification Project."
1. Support contents
■ Project Name: Smart City National Pilot Smart City Innovation Service Model Verification Project
■ Eligibility: Domestic companies with innovative technologies and services in the smart city field
■ Support Content: Demonstration costs for innovative technologies and services applicable to smart cities
■ Demonstration area: All of Sejong and Busan, including the National Pilot Smart City
■ Business period: From the date of contract signing to December 26
■ Competition fields: Open competition and designated competition
- Open Competition: Companies seeking verification support can apply for their proposed technology after consulting with the National Pilot Smart City (Sejong/Busan).
- Designated Competition: Applications are limited to innovative technologies and services proposed by the National Pilot Smart City.

※The number of support projects and budget may be adjusted based on evaluation results, etc., and if a project is abandoned after selection, additional projects may be selected in the next priority.
2. Eligibility
■ Eligibility: Domestic small and medium-sized enterprises possessing smart city innovation technologies and services.*
* As of the date of announcement, the hosting organization must possess intellectual property rights related to the innovation service for which registration has been completed.
※ A consortium (host + joint organization) can have up to 4 companies, and existing government-supported projects such as MOLIT are excluded.
※Additional points will be awarded to companies located in Sejong City or Busan who apply or participate in matching (30% or more of government subsidies) for demonstration costs.
3. Application Submission
■ Contest Period: March 12, 2026 (Thursday) - April 21, 2026 (Tuesday) [40 days]
■ Application period: '26. 4. 10. (Fri) ~ 4. 21. (Tue), 17:00 [11 days]
※ Applications are accepted based on the email arrival time. Applications received after the deadline will be considered invalid, so please submit your application at least one day before the deadline.

■ Briefing Session: March 24, 2026 (Tuesday) 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

(Pre-registration period for the briefing session: March 12, 2026 (Thursday) 9:00 AM - March 23, 2026 (Monday) 2:00 PM, 100 participants allowed)
4. Selection Procedure and Method
■ Selection procedure: application submission → selection evaluation → contract conclusion → project execution
■ Evaluation method: Evaluate according to the selection evaluation procedure and method contained in the competition guide
5. Notice
■ Costs related to project application are borne by the applicant, and submitted documents will not be returned.
■ The applicant company and related persons (including the representative) are deemed to have consented to the use of personal information for credit inquiry.
■ Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) may request additional data if necessary, and applicants must actively cooperate.
■ After the announcement of the selection results, if it is confirmed that all or part of the submitted documents were forged, falsified, or misrepresented, the selection can be canceled.
■ Any disadvantages resulting from errors or omissions in the submitted documents or failure to contact the applicant are considered the responsibility of the applicant organization.
■ Matters related to the selection and evaluation of this project are under the authority of the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA), and related data such as evaluation contents and results for each application are not disclosed.
