□ Korea-Vietnam begins establishment of Smart City Cooperation Center (VKC)
ㅇ On October 11, the Vietnam Ministry of Construction and the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport started the 'Korea-Vietnam Cooperation Center (VKC) Establishment Project on Smart City and Construction Technology'.
– For the development of smart cities in Vietnam, a specialized center that promotes research and training on smart cities and advanced construction technologies will be established in Vietnam, and cooperation in legislation, policy making and monitoring, and technology transfer will be strengthened.
– According to the statistics of the Vietnam Ministry of Construction, 63 out of 41 provinces in Vietnam are developing smart cities, and 27 provinces aim to build a smart city model for the entire province.
