Education of Urban History in Incheon through the Making of Handbooks
Incheon Metropolitan City Museum Compact Smart City operates the 'Incheon School of Architecture and Urbanism', an education for elementary school students, from August 8th to August 4th, every Tuesday to Friday from 8:14 am to 10:12 in total for a total of 8 sessions.
'Incheon Urban Architecture School' is an educational program designed by City Planner, Compaq Smart City, to give Incheon children the opportunity to experience various elements of city and architecture more easily by providing creative experience education on the theme of city and architecture.
In this training, I draw my own handbook by drawing Palmido Lighthouse, Korea's first lighthouse and Dapdong Cathedral, Incheon's first cathedral. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the past, present and future of Incheon city by visiting the Compaq Smart City exhibition hall.
The target of education is elementary school students, and a total of 7 people, 21 people per session, will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis from July 1st. Children who wish to participate in the training can apply over the phone, and both participation and material costs are free.
