The 6th 'Goyang Knowledge Forum' hosted by the Goyang Knowledge Information Industry Promotion Agency (President Yang Yoo-gil, hereinafter referred to as the Institute) was held on September 9th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 18, Room 1 and Room 212. The 'Goyang Knowledge Forum', which celebrated its 213th anniversary this year, is the only industrial policy forum in Goyang City where the best experts in each field, including the government, industry, and academia, gather in one place to think about the direction and development strategy of Goyang's future industry.

Starting with the keynote speech by Daum Soft, Song Gil-young, who appeared in KBS “Myongdang Manly” and JTBC “Unusual Talks”, Mr. In-Kwon Ryu, Director of the Sharing Market Economy Bureau of Gyeonggi-do, and Managing Director Lim Ik-chul of Intel Korea The announcement was followed by the use of drones and the possibility of strategic industries, and Honorary Professor Kim Gwi-gon of Seoul National University (Poyang Climate Agreement and Goyang City's Policy Direction for Eco Smart City).

The keywords of this forum are summarized as "management and utilization of data" and "political direction of Goyang city that can be continuously developed". First, Daum Soft's Vice President Song Gil-young and Intel Korea's Managing Director Lim Ik-chul gave a presentation on data management and utilization.

Keynote speaker Vice President Song Gil-young predicts that individuals, businesses, and governments will face great difficulties if they cannot secure 'uniqueness' in the rapidly changing 4th Industrial Revolution. He said that the reflection of policies through data collection, management and analysis is most important.
Ik-Chul Lim said that while current drones are emerging as entertainment elements, drones are in the spotlight as data collection devices for digital twins. In addition, drones are a way of collecting information, and it is expected that the utilization of various data such as collected images will be the core of the development of the drone industry.

Regarding the policy direction of Goyang city, which is capable of sustainable development, Ryu In-Kwon, Director of the Sharing Market Economy Bureau, Gyeonggi-do, gave a presentation on the concept and future direction of the sharing economy.

In-Kwon Ryu explained the concept of the sharing economy as an alternative to the market economy and explained various cases such as local currency. In addition, it emphasized the participation of citizens based on the fostering of the sharing economy and solidarity, cooperation and responsibility as a way for the majority of citizens to be happy in the future.

Honorary Professor Kim Gui-gon suggested six specific policies, emphasizing that the core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution was the environment and eco- smart city based on it. In particular, it presented specific strategies such as the 'climate-type climate ICT test bed' and the 'power-type test bed' applicable to Lafesta in Goyang City, which attracted a lot of audiences' response.

In the following panel discussions, Professor Myung Seung-hwan of the Department of Public Administration, Inha University, Chairman Young-sung Lee, Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University, and Choi Yoon-sik, Director of Gyeonggi Contents Promotion Agency, attended the conference. The forum was attended by more than 180 employees of high-tech industries, officials of related organizations and public officials, as well as citizens and students who are interested in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In particular, the event was held in conjunction with World Smart City Week 4, an international cooperation event in the smart city area, and the attendance of experts in various fields was outstanding.
