Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do, promotes'Smart City Siheung Living Lab' in earnest to create innovation and change that changes the life of Siheung as the center of citizens.
On May 5, the city started team activities for each project to analyze the problem situation and derive solution idea directions to solve urban problems in Siheung City with the members of the <Smart City Siheung Living Lab> project team. We will continue to do so.
The team activities for each project were finalized as an idea topic selected in the <Theme Idea Contest> held in February to 'discover living lab topics that can be experienced by citizens' ▲ Smart farm using loT technology ▲ Communication support for multicultural students A total of five projects are carried out: service ▲ village safety map creation ▲ service to solve parking problems in Siheung City ▲ response system in case of an accident of a vehicle carrying toxic substances.
Each team, consisting of less than 10 people for each project, was composed of a civic participation group interested in Smart City in Siheung City, and the solution direction was established through the process of field & desk research to identify issues by topic, derivation of key issues, and idea meetings to resolve key issues To derive.
This project is part of the Living Lab project to discover business topics with high citizens' needs and interests and to solve them with citizens, and the result obtained with citizens in this way is a candidate for the'Smart City Innovation Growth Engine Project' open innovation project. The subject will also be reviewed.
Citizens who participated in the team project on this day said, “It was new and very interesting to participate directly from investigation to idea to solve problems and uncomfortable life. I will work hard in the future.”
