From October 10, a technology competition for the introduction of smart city National pilot smart city innovation technology

Support for the demonstration of innovative services and a total of 55.5 billion for the Smart Village Competition

 

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport announced that it will conduct technology competition for two projects* from Friday, July 7.10 to apply innovative technology of small and medium-sized enterprises to smart city National pilot smart cities (Sejong, Busan).
* ① Demonstration support project for demonstration city innovation service (Sejong, Busan), ② Smart Village Innovation Technology Competition (Busan)

This competition was planned to select and support small and medium-sized companies that have innovative technologies that can be introduced into the National Pilot Smart City, apart from the SPC private operators* competition.
* Selected as a business operator this year as a special purpose corporation (large company participation) to build and operate the National Pilot Smart City for more than 15 years

The details of the two smart city innovation technology contests are as follows.

(① demonstration city innovative service demonstration support project) It is a project to discover excellent technologies suitable for the 5 service fields* and link them to demonstration, which provides a maximum cost of 3 million won for each project and a total cost of 19.5 billion won.

(② Smart Village Innovation Technology Contest Project) Each of the 11 technologies** to be introduced in'Smart Village*', the first residential complex of Busan's National Pilot Smart City, is between 5 million and 7 million won, totaling 36 billion won. ※ The final number of selections by field can be adjusted during the selection process.

* An experimental residential space in which the technology of Busan's smart city National pilot smart city is concentrated (total of 56 households, moving in at the end of '21)
** ① hydrophilic information platform, ② real-time water care, ③ smart trash can, ④ smart pole, ⑤ smart bench, ⑥ AI sports center, ⑦ smart management robot, ⑧ robot cafe, ⑨ real-time health management, ⑩ wellness center, ⑪ smart farm

In order to help small and medium-sized companies to coexist with large companies in the smart city industry ecosystem, this competition has given separate participation requirements* to large companies, and a briefing session is also planned to help the companies understand.
* Large companies cannot participate alone, but can participate in consortium (up to 5 companies)

In addition, a minimum competition period of 32 days or more allowed small and medium-sized enterprises to fully participate in the review.

(Announcement of results) The pilot city innovation service demonstration support project will be announced at the end of August and the smart village innovation technology contest project will be announced around September, and the projects will be completed by the end of '8 and '9, respectively.
