– Recruiting residents of 54 households of Busan Smart Village, a living lab-type demonstration complex
– Only paying free rental and management fees for 5 years on condition of active participation in Living Lab

□ The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport is recruiting tenants of the Smart Village, the first complex of the National Pilot Smart City, from November 11th.

ㅇ Smart Village is a living lab*-type demonstration complex where you can meet future life and new technologies in advance by first applying about 40 innovative technologies to be implemented in Busan Smart City National pilot smart city.
* Living lab: A lab that conducts research in a space where citizens actually live.
-Citizens live in person, experience and feed back the demonstration service to supplement the technology, and the proven technology can be spread throughout the pilot city.

ㅇ The smart village is being built as a block-type detached housing complex with the first zero energy in Korea and consists of a total of 1 households (56 households recruited*).
* The second generation is an experience generation, and visitors are separately recruited during the operation period for the public.
-Currently, Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water), Samsung C&T, and Shin Dong-A E&C are jointly developing, and the move-in is expected to proceed after completion of construction in December of '21.

□ Various innovative technologies implemented in the smart village are expected to greatly enhance the quality of life by acting on all elements of the tenant's life.

ㅇ By linking the smart home service of each home and the innovation service in the complex with one platform, the environment inside and outside the home is conveniently managed, and life diagnosis is also made through various information analysis.

ㅇ Health monitoring system installed in each home and personal smart band check the health status, and based on the collected data, it is possible to determine whether a hospital visit is necessary by predicting possible disease.
-In the event of symptoms, services in connection with local partner hospitals and healthy diet management services are also provided at the wellness center where nurses reside.
-In the AI Sports Center, AI trainers analyze individual health information and provide personalized exercise prescriptions.

ㅇ By operating an eco-friendly smart farm that uses rainwater, food such as salad vegetables and tomatoes can be grown, and it is also used as a community of smart village residents in the process of selecting and growing crops.

ㅇ You can enjoy a variety of robotic services that automatically classify the waste generated in each household and collect it by the robot, and deliver the coffee produced by the robot to the customer by an autonomous serving robot.

□ Smart Village will be operated as a free rental (paying monthly management fee only) without rental deposit and rental fee during the operating period of Living Lab (5 years).

ㅇ Tenants are expected to play the role of demonstrating and verifying various technologies to be applied to smart cities by receiving certain obligations such as participation in Living Lab operation training, feedback of verification services, and provision of personal information.

□ The households recruited at this time are 56 households, excluding the 2nd experience households, out of the total 54 households, divided into management households (6 households), special households (12 households), and general households (36 households).

ㅇ The management generation is the generation that leads the operation of the demonstration service by reflecting the specificity of Living Lab and adjusts conflicts between stakeholders, and selects tenants (facilitators) to play the role of overall coordination and management.

ㅇ Special households will be recruited for the underprivileged class such as youth, newlyweds, the elderly, and the disabled, and general households will be recruited in various ways in consideration of the household and age.

ㅇ The experiential generation is planning to recruit visitors separately during the operation period for the large public and operate them at all times, and after December 21, through prior application, anyone can experience the smart city.

□ Households wishing to move in can apply through the Smart Village website (https://busan-smartvillage.com) from 23:10 on November 10 to 17:XNUMX on December XNUMX.

ㅇ Details can be found through the announcement posted on the website from November 11th and through the public relations center and call center (1600-5660) installed in the reception room at Busan Station.

□ In order to select tenants who are responsible for preparing for the future together, we plan to introduce document screening that combines quantitative and qualitative evaluation for all households.

ㅇ In the case of management households and special households, the final tenant is selected through an interview after document review, and in the case of general households, the final tenant is selected through a lottery after document review.

□ After the tenant selection, the “Living Lab Pre-education Program” will be operated for tenants in connection with the introduction of innovative technologies to increase the level of adaptation to Living Lab.

ㅇ Opinions and information suggested by Living Lab are expected to be used in the expansion of the National pilot smart city through project operators, construction of public services for local governments, and technology development for small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea, thereby greatly enhancing the domestic smart city capabilities.
-Particularly, in anticipation of an unprecedented large-scale living lab-type demonstration, domestic small and medium-sized enterprises are actively participating in 11 innovative technology competitions, showing high interest in the demonstration of innovative technology.

ㅇ In addition, in connection with infrastructure such as a data platform that manages the entire complex, various national research and development (R&D) test beds and regulatory deferral systems will be used as a demonstration space.

□ Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport requested a lot of interest and participation in recruiting tenants who will together create the National Pilot Smart City, the first citizen of the Smart City National pilot smart city and a cornerstone of Korea's smart city.
