The city of Ulsan announced that it will complete the second project following the first project of'Smart City Integrated Platform Foundation Construction', and will enter full-scale operation from December after a trial operation period for one month in November.
The'Smart City Integrated Platform Infrastructure Construction Project' was promoted as Ulsan City was selected for the Integrated Platform Infrastructure Construction Project contest held last year by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.
A total of 6 billion won was invested, including 6 million won from the government and 12 million won from the city fund, secured through public offering.
The first project is the integrated management of 1 CCTV videos, including disasters, forest fires, typhoons, and crime prevention municipal TVs (CCTVs), which are installed throughout the city by Ulsan Smart City Center (wide hub center). In the event of an emergency situation such as a crime or violation of electronic devices, it is a project to provide real-time CCTV images from five nearby locations to the Disaster Situation Room, 7,233 General Situation Room, 5 Situation Room, and the Ministry of Justice's Location Tracking and Control Center. .
During the trial period, 200 incidents of emergency situation information (CCTV) are being quickly provided to related organizations.
The second project is to expand services such as ▲ emergency video support for 2 dispatch vehicles, ▲ search support for vehicles arranged by the National Police Agency, and ▲ infrastructure support for the socially weak.
'119 Emergency Video Support' is the nation's first project, and by providing on-site video to 119 dispatch vehicles in addition to the existing 119 general situation room, it is possible to secure a golden time for fire suppression and lifesaving.
'Arranged Vehicle Search Support' is a service that provides real-time information such as vehicle location and direction of movement to the National Police Agency when a wanted vehicle is found using 100 CCTVs installed in the outskirts.
The'Support for the Socially Underprivileged' has completed the establishment of a service infrastructure so that it is possible to request help, contact a guardian, and report to the police in an emergency situation by supplying a location tracking terminal linked to the integrated platform for the developmentally disabled and dementia elderly.
An official from Ulsan City said, “By establishing the foundation of a smart city integrated platform, which is a smart new deal promotion task for the Ulsan-type New Deal, information sharing and collaboration functions have been strengthened by jointly utilizing the images of closed-circuit TVs individually installed and operated by cities, guts, and counties. On the other hand, Ulsan City signed a business agreement with five districts and counties on June 6, Ulsan Regional National Police Agency, Ministry of Justice Location Tracking Daejeon Control Center, and 25rd Division 5th Regiment to stably provide smart city safety net services.
