Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it opened the 'Smart City Integrated Platform Operation Center' on September 9th and started full-scale operation. This project was selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport contest last year, and a total of 30 billion won, including 6 million won from the government, was invested to build the system and went through a test operation for two months.
Now, when an incident or accident occurs anywhere in Incheon, CCTV images near the point of occurrence are shared in real-time with the 112 Comprehensive Security Situation Room, the 119 Comprehensive Situation Room, the Location Tracking and Control Center of the Ministry of Justice and on-site dispatchers. By grasping the on-site situation through video, it became possible to quickly respond to emergency situations and secure the golden time.

In particular, when an abnormality is detected by the fire sensor installed in the traditional market, the traditional market fire alarm linkage service was installed on a trial basis in the calculation market and the operation market, so that the CCTV images in the market are displayed in the 119 general situation room. This is the result of Incheon City's implementation of the first phase of the integrated platform construction project with an emphasis on 'Smart Safe City'.

The smart city integrated platform is a system that enables more efficient city management, monitoring, and response by linking ICT-based systems such as crime prevention, transportation, and environment to share information.

Kim Ji-young, the city's smart city manager, said, "We anticipate that the operation of the smart city integrated platform operation center will prevent crime in advance and increase citizens' sense of safety." We plan to continue our business for this purpose,” he said.
