<What is an innovative product (Fast Track III)?>
- In accordance with Article 33, Paragraph 1, Item 3 of the Enforcement Decree of the Procurement Business Act, the product has been recognized for its innovativeness and publicity, and it is designated as an innovative product by the government after deliberation by the Procurement Policy Deliberation Committee.
- Among the products discovered through technology certification and support projects linked to the government’s innovative growth support policy, the publicity was evaluated through the recommendation of the head of the central government and designated as an innovative product.
1. Products subject to application
ㅇ Solution suites that are actually built and operated in the Smart Challenge business (City/Town/Solution/Campus)
※ Evaluation based on the actual service operation status within the challenge business
2. Eligibility for application
ㅇ Products that are suitable for innovative growth and solve the problems of people's living, have a technology development stage (TRL) of 7 or higher, and have passed the preliminary deliberation of the central government for issuing certification (designation)
※ Application target and basic requirements
1) Technical field
– Fields to support innovative growth: ①Smart City ②Drone ③New Energy Industry ④Bio Health⑤Smart Factory ⑥Future Car ⑦Smart Farm ⑧Fintech ⑨Robot ⑩Artificial Intelligence
– National life issues: safety, environment, health, welfare, education, culture, public security
2) Technical Synthesis – Technology Development Stage (TRL)
– Step 7: Complete development of prototypes that can be applied and utilized in the field
– Step 8: Verification for mass production is completed by reflecting field requirements
– Step 9: All requirements for mass production are complete (the stage just before market launch)
3. Exemption from application
① Products that do not meet the qualifications for innovative product application (field suitability, technical compatibility)
② If there is no intellectual property right (patent, utility model) for the technology applied to the applied product
③ When product unit evaluation is limited, such as manufacturing process technology, construction method, etc.
④ In case innovation is not secured because the same technology is applied to excellent procurement, excellent procurement joint-brand products, the same specifications (same product identification number) as the products with multiple supplier contracts, or similar products
⑤ In case of being designated as fast track Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ or received
⑥ If the same product was recommended and failed the publicity evaluation more than twice
⑦ Simple supply or OEM product, not direct production (or collaboration application/selection※) of the requested product
⑧ In case the validity period of certification and designation of the application qualification has expired as of the date of announcement
