The event was held to check on the site how helpful MSS's smart factory support policy is in practice and to listen to the voices of those involved in the event. Experts from five small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), academia, and research institutes in the province attended.

Samhyun Co., Ltd. started the introduction of smart factories in 2016, and in 2020, localized SBW (Shift By Wire) actuators, which were entirely imported, as a company with excellent technological capabilities in the field of precision control motor manufacturing. It received a lot of attention by introducing the SBW assembly line composed of automated equipment to the participants.

In particular, it is contributing to the creation of high-quality jobs by hiring 3 new people over the past three years as well as increasing productivity through the establishment of a smart factory. He announced that he plans to further advance the smart factory by building a digital twin.

At the meeting that followed, the government introduced the government's policy direction to promote the digital transformation of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies as a national task, and there was a place to listen to various opinions of SMEs and experts in attendance, and discussions necessary for the development of the smart factory ecosystem were held.

At the meeting, there were suggestions such as the government's continuous support for smart factories and the necessity of nurturing manufacturing data experts. He announced that he would make an effort, raising expectations for the government's SME support policy in the future.

On the other hand, Gyeongnam-do has established a goal of building 2018 smart factories from August 8 to 2022 to support digitalization of manufacturing production sites in connection with government policies, and is promoting a project to provide additional support for local expenses* to companies introducing smart factories in the province. By the end of 2,000, 2021 smart factories will be built to achieve the goal early, and this year, based on the expansion of the base, advanced support will be strengthened.
